My question is to the Acting Premier. The Attorney-General has told the Legislative Council that, and I quote:
… the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission has advised that it cannot provide a copy of the review to the government due to orders made by the Court of Appeal on 4 October 2018 …
Constitutional expert Professor Greg Taylor has confirmed the power of a house of this Parliament is entirely separate from the powers of the judiciary. Acting Premier, why is this government refusing to provide this important document to Parliament that seeks to improve the way women are treated in our fire services?
